Hundreds flocked to the facility known locally as 'the human slaughterhouse', in an attempt to find a trace of their disappeared loved ones. It was rumoured that 1,500 prisoners were still detained in hidden underground cells, after thousands of detainees were freed on Sunday. The Syrian civil defence issued a statement that despite an intensive search, no prisoners were found trapped underground.
