17 days after the fall of a regime that lasted decades, Syria's new administration is facing challenges to unify armed groups and rebuild society. Fighting is escalating between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed fighters in the north of the country. And there have been protests in several cities across Syria over a video showing a shrine being attacked.
