Stripped plastic screw holes can be fixed in a variety of ways, depending on how bad the damage. You could try filling the hole with hot glue and allowing it to set before screwing it back in. Another option is using a zip tie, toothpick or small wood piece for better grip. For a stronger repair, consider installing a threaded insert (DIY helicoil) for more durability.

In this video I show a quick way to help tighten a screw in a plastic thread which has been stripped. This won't work on very badly stripped threads which may require a Heli Coil or Epoxy

Heat-Set Threaded Inserts

Heat-set threaded inserts are ideal for creating robust threads in plastic, especially for high-stress applications.

Steps:
Enlarge the stripped hole to fit the insert.
Heat the insert with a soldering iron or heat tool.
Press the heated insert into the hole and allow it to cool.
The plastic will solidify around the insert, creating durable threads.
